Working for Ardmore

Ardmore Language Schools run Summer English Language and Cultural Holidays for students from all over the world.  During 2011, we will be running more than 14 residential schools and colleges situated around England  plus 2 non-residential centres in Croydon and Eastbourne.  We employ over 250 members of staff each summer.  Non-residential positions are also available.

Our main objective is for students to enjoy their visit to England (the first visit for many), experience our culture and improve their English in a safe and friendly environment.  On average, they spend 2-3 weeks at our centres.  Their ages range from 9-17 years old with group sizes ranging from 15-50.  The students participate in a wide range of sports and recreational activities plus excursions to places of interest.  It is particularly important that all students enjoy their holiday so that they return home even more enthusiastic and committed to learning English.

We are ALL responsible for the welfare and care of every student including those travelling as individuals.  We are ALL responsible for making sure that the individual students integrate with the other students so that every student enjoys and benefits from their time at an Ardmore centre.

Working for Ardmore, you will quickly become part of a lively and fast-paced environment.   Teamwork is essential to ensure that our programmes are delivered to a high standard with staff living and working together in our residences to oversee all aspects of our courses.  Each member of staff is reminded that they are responsible for their own safety as well as the safety of the students.
